Our recent partnership with Seiberlich Trane Energy Services (STES) on the steam decentralization project in Wilmington is a prime example of how we modernize systems to enhance efficiency and performance.

Transforming the DuPont Building

The DuPont Building, a cornerstone of Wilmington's skyline, required an overhaul of its aging heating infrastructure. We installed a new rooftop boiler plant to provide efficient heating and domestic hot water for the building's guestrooms. In the basement, outdated high-pressure steam systems were replaced with modern low-pressure systems, significantly reducing energy consumption and improving reliability.

Upgrading 221 W Tenth

221 W Tenth posed unique challenges due to its size and complexity. BPG|360 led the installation of a 10 million BTU condensing hot water boiler plant on the 15th floor to efficiently handle the building's heating needs. Additionally, we upgraded the onsite movier theater, Theatre N, with new hot water coils and compact boilers. The building’s domestic hot water system was modernized with the replacement of aging electric water heaters, ensuring consistent and energy-efficient performance.

Reimagining 1000 N West

1000 N West, another key property in Downtown Wilmington, required a tailored approach to meet its specific needs. We installed new condensing boilers in the penthouse for hot water and heating, while two low-pressure steam boilers were added to the basement to handle the remaining steam loads. A complete overhaul of the flue systems, pumps, and control systems ensured the building operates at peak efficiency.
